i really want to go into the peace corps.
so i was thinking, after i get my bachelors, i want to take 27 months off and go to africa
to help those in need.
when i come back, i will proceed to get my masters.
the reason i want to do that is because i want life experience.
i want to travel, and i want to put life on a break for a little bit.
i mean i love stress and all the shabang that comes with it, but i need a bit of timeoff for a while, sometime in my life, and i think that would be the perfect time.
then i want to get my phd, but we will see how everything works out.
i should start looking at other blogging sites.
any suggestions?

motivation.
i was wondering where people get their motivation from.
i get mine from the gym, music, and thoughts.
btw: kickboxing rules.

love.
so i have been thinking for a while, are there different kinds of love?
i mean, spousal love must be different from family love, right?
and what about brotherly love, to your neighbors?
are there different layers?
just a thought.

so i turned 17 friday, and this weekend was somewhat horrific.
it was good, but it wasn't.
it's funny how a lot of the talk on the news today is martin luther king day, and i have not once heard anyone i know even refer to him.

go.
so i thought, and thought about what to write in this 'blog'
and i simply can not come up with anything.
nothing at all.
well, write something that is worth reading.
we can all write words like i am doing right now, and
they can mean absolutely nothing.
so i've decided to let you [whoeveryouare]
into my life, not that it is anything amusing
of course, i wake up to go to school, and while in school, i am
guilty of zoning out in the halls while listening to the radio on my
phone.
not all my classes are a golden miracle, but i do have some that i
enjoy quite a bit.
first period; russian. the highlight of this class is that julie, one of my close friends, sits next to me. together, we talk the ears out of the other boys.
second period; gym. i hate gym. period.
period three; broadcast journalism class. i am not going to lie, this class is not what i had
expected it to be. i wanted more.
fourth; history. bland. our teacher graduated from yale. the way he lectures really reflects
that.
fifth period; algebra 2 accelerated. one of my favorite classes. i love math.
sixth period; geometry accelerated. not one of my favorite classes. i still love math though.
seventh; english honors. my absolute favorite class. despite being at least 10 years over the
minimum retirement age, warbs is an amazing teacher; full of wit and sarcasm.
tomorrow is thursday; which means i have period y, a study. i have to hand in my
russian homework, and then i have a meeting with my AIDS/Poverty club,
and then i am off to newspaper.
it is sad that we are behind on due dates. we should finish the second issue tomorrow.
then period three, and i have to give a reading of ee cummings' 'anyone lived in a pretty how town' by memory.
it's for poetry out loud. good stuff.
by the way, that is my favorite poem, along with 'since feeling is first,'
and he is my favorite artist.
period five; math math math. what are we doing tomorrow? oh yes. reviewing for midterms. which are next week. shoot me. somebody. please.
period six; more math, and lunchtime. i dont eat lunch.
we are reviewing for midterms once more, and i have a couple of questions on my review packet.
period seven; i can't wait.
i also have to get to planet fitness, i want to start next week. i wonder if they have kickboxing classes?
i really hope they have a pool. swimming is obligatory; right next to breathing.
i dont know what to do now. i miss playing unreal tournament. i should start on that as soon as i have time.
i also have to see ms. m for tutoring middleschoolers.
oh, and the berlin citizen is coming out tomorrow. i hope my two articles are published.

.
there is something about this day that makes it really bland.
it is not the thought of coming home to an overload of homework
which i love by the way,
but something else.
i have been looking at boston university for a while.
i would kill to go there.
and then i found out i had to take the sat 2's
ok, kinda piled on the stress
that much more, but i reallylike stress.
we shall see.

the fifteenth of january.
tuesday;my eyes open at 6,turnoff my alarm clock and fall back asleep.
6.20; i am standing in the bathroom facing my own reflection and thinking about which face cleanser to use. the quotidian elements of repetative daily routine begin.
7.25 school begins, and i try to make the best out of it. i really do. nothing beats sitting in a class and listening to a teacher lecture for more than an hour. seriously.
3.20 i end up at the mall, with a tall caramel frap in one hand, and my oversized purse in the other. to my suprise, there is no jessica mcclintock here. i go home.
8.02 i leave my math homework incomplete and drag myself downstairs for a glass of water, only then to realize american idol is on. i am not one for watching people fail, nor for watching television, but its something about failure that gives life a fuller meaning.
11.58 i reside in the sanctuary of my room and decide i have nothing better to do with my life than blog. there'ssomething about the reasonofthought that compels me to write.
i can not seem to come up with a better word for communication, but i really like it.
